So here are my safety pins wheels by flip, that are on mt skate. I hand picked every component on my board like I do now on my cars. If I score an old ford truck for example I don't limit my powertrain choices to just ford. I also don't stab a s.b.c in everything either. My boards were a selection process of utility but also asthetics. I love(d) skateboard art. A lot of it captured my youth along with a lot of the music in the 1980's. Man some of the punk stuff and the Cure it gives me a physical reaction.....A lot from a single image of a skateboard wheel, right?
Trust me I am even holding back at this point. But I think that is kind of the point of how my family views and feels objects and music we get a feel, or deep connection that a lot of people miss. I think a lot of things have some juju or mojo I like old used tools better than new ones, someone used it, held it, Hell maybe even threw it in anger, that's where those nicks came from. f.y.i. don't throw tools or hit or kick a car.
